Reimagining My ‘Why’

It’s finally here. I can’t believe that we’ve officially launched Designing Your Dream Organizing Business!! My team and I have put so, so much into creating this course. It was made for aspiring organizers as well as established organizers who want to grow and take their businesses to the next level.

For anyone who has an organizing company, or has dreamed of wanting to start one, this was made just for you. When I started Life in Jeneral six years ago, there was so much I didn’t know about starting a business. It was my first time doing a lot of things that were unfamiliar, uncomfortable, and intimidating, and I wish I had a resource for all of the legwork back then. With some coaching, experience over time, and a lot of Googling, I let my passion fuel me as I worked tirelessly to make my dream a reality. Now that I have more than six years as a successful business owner under my belt, I want to share the wealth. I remember that feeling of being so scared and unsure when I started, and I want to help anyone I can to avoid that feeling as much as possible. I want you to know that you CAN do this with the right information.

My mission in life is to be a source of positivity, encouragement, and help to anybody and everybody. And ultimately I want to spread the work of organizing as much as possible. I truly believe that with more organizers all around the world, more lives can be changed. Helping thousands of clients transform their lives has been the biggest blessing of my life and with more people doing this work, I can only imagine the impact.

Creating this course has brought me closer to my ‘why’ than ever before. It’s actually helped me reimagine how I can transform lives entirely. I knew I wanted to do this to help more people make their love for organizing into a successful career, and having to get all of the logistics and nitty gritty down on paper has reminded me of how badly I want to see others succeed. When more organizers are equipped and most importantly, confident and happy in their business, they can help touch the lives of others through their work. And I am so grateful for this class giving me a new perspective on how I can apply that passion that fuels me. I only hope it translates on screen and in writing and impacts anyone who enrolls.

I’m so proud of this and the team who’s worked tirelessly on creating our first course for LIJ Academy. I’m also so excited to have this new community created just for organizers, and for what’s to come...just remember, this is the first of many! As this industry continues to grow, I’m excited to hold a space for you and for anyone who feels passionately about organization.
